Select Simply Me portraits from photographers across the country will be exhibited this fall at a national art show in Springfield, Illinois, hosted by the Photography Business Institute.
One image from this year's Simply Me sessions will be selected to represent Merlin Photography at the show.

Hi, I’m Chelsey.
Chelsey DeMoss has known since high school that she wanted to be a photographer. Long before Merlin Photography began, she was already learning, practicing and building the skills to tell people’s stories well.
For Chelsey, photographs are physical proof of our memories. They hold the people we love, the moments we never want to lose and the seasons of life that pass too quickly. What she loves most is creating something families can look back on and say, “This is us.”
Chelsey lives in Auburn, Washington, where she loves the welcoming community, cloudy days and beautiful views. When she’s not behind the camera, you’ll find her playing video games, eating ramen, enjoying board games with family, or watching movies with her fiancé, Seth, her biggest cheerleader.

Simple, solid colors work beautifully in black and white. I’ll give you specific guidance at the consultation but the short version is:
keep it comfortable and don’t stress. This is the one session where the outfit barely matters.
MY CHILD IS SHY OR HIGH-ENERGY. IS THAT OKAY?
Absolutely! The session moves at your child’s pace, not the other way around.
